Beef Steak with Black Pepper Sauce

Hi everyone! Today I have been cooking  this steak with black pepper sauce for dinner. It takes little time to prepare this recipe and the result is worthwhile. A good tip for best results is to let the steaks rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes before cooking. This dish is great for a special occasion or for a romantic dinner with your partner. A glass of  Spanish red wine perfectly goes with this meal. I'm sure you are going to enjoy it.

Ingredients:

(Serves 4)

4 beef steaks (about 250g each)
300 ml cooking cream
75 ml extra virgin olive oil
Ground black pepper
Salt

Difficulty and cooking time:

Easy
15 minutes

Method:

Season steaks with salt and ground black pepper.


Heat a frying pan over a high heat, add the olive oil and place the steaks onto the frying pan. Then reduce heat to medium high and cook for 2 minutes.


Turn the steaks over and cook for about 2 minutes.


When the steaks are done pour the cooking cream and reduce heat.


Add some salt and ground black pepper to taste  (You can tweak the flavour of the sauce to your liking by adjusting the amount of black pepper used) Simmer for 2 minutes, so the sauce will thicken itself.


And our dish is ready. Serve hot with homemade fries and salad.
