Hi everyone! Today I have been preparing for you an Italian dish. The Italian and the Spanish cuisine are very similar, both belong to the so called Mediterranean diet. My brother´s wife is Italian and she has shown me the authentic way of cooking pasta. In Italy I have tried the most tasty pasta dishes I have ever had. My son adores going there, especially to Naples, where he can enjoy the best pizza in the world. Italian cuisine is international, and in Spain pasta has become part of our diet too. Spaghetti carbonara are very easy to cook, they are ready in a few minutes, and they are incredibly good!
Ingredients:
Serves 4
400 g spaghetti
300 g bacon
4 eggs
50 ml extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Ground black pepper
Difficulty and cooking time:
Easy
15 minutes
Preparation:
Put the spaghetti in a pot with boiling salted water. Boil them only for 7 minutes stirring occasionally, so the pasta is "al dente" and it keeps all its properties and flavour. The secret of a good pasta dish is never overcook it.
In the meantime, dice the bacon.
Put the extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and add the diced bacon.
Fry the diced bacon until it is crusty.
Drain well the pasta (for this recipe don´t refresh it with cold water) and put it again in the pot.
Add the fried bacon and mix thoroughly.
Then add the beaten eggs.
Stir well until the eggs set up.
And our dish is ready to eat. Serve it hot.
I'm sure you are going to like this dish.
See you soon,
MarĂa
